Cleaning the is easy. Here are the steps:
1. Always unplug the Press Grill and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm.
2. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove any food residue. For baked-on food, you can squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the residue and clean it with a nonabrasive plastic scouring pad. Alternatively, you can place wet kitchen paper over the grill to moisten the residue.
3. Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.
4. Do not use metal utensils to remove your foods, as they can damage the non-stick surface.
5. Wipe the outside of the Press Grill with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. Do not immerse the Press Grill in water or any other liquid.
6. Remove and empty the drip tray after each use and wash it in warm, soapy water. Avoid the use of scouring pads or harsh detergents, as they may damage the surface.
7. Rinse and dry the drip tray thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth before replacing it.
Remember to always follow the cleaning instructions in the manual to ensure the longevity and performance of your Monxook SW-3018 Press Grill Sandwich Maker.
