To adjust the focus on the Vortex DB-217 Diamondback HD Binoculars, follow these steps:
1. Locate the center focus wheel on the binoculars. This wheel is usually located between the two barrels and is used to adjust the focus for both barrels simultaneously.
2. Hold the binoculars up to your eyes and look through them at the desired object or scene.
3. Start by turning the center focus wheel slowly in one direction. As you turn the wheel, you should notice the image becoming clearer.
4. Continue turning the wheel until the image appears sharp and in focus. It may take a few adjustments to find the optimal focus.
5. If the image still appears blurry, try adjusting the diopter. The diopter is usually located on one of the eyepieces and allows for individual focus adjustment to compensate for differences in the user's eyes.
6. To adjust the diopter, close one eye and focus on a distant object using the center focus wheel. Once the image is in focus, switch to the other eye and use the diopter adjustment to bring the image into focus.
7. Once you have achieved a clear and sharp image, you can lock the diopter adjustment in place if desired.
