To connect the Cox Contour Streaming Antenna to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Connect the antenna's coax cable to the TV's "antenna/cable in" port. This port may be labeled differently depending on your TV manufacturer, such as "ant in" or "ant/cable".
2. Make sure there is an HDMI connection between the set-top box and the TV. Do not remove this connection unless it is currently attached to the "antenna/cable in" port.
3. Change the source on your TV to "antenna" using the source input button on your TV remote. The source may be labeled as "TV" or something similar, so test it to verify.
4. Once the antenna is connected to your TV and you have changed to the correct source, you will need to run a TV channel scan. Refer to your TV's user guide for specific instructions on how to perform a channel scan.
Note: These instructions are applicable for any HD television and set-top box combination that uses an HDMI connection. Setups using a component or composite connection will also work with these instructions.
For more detailed information and troubleshooting, please refer to the Cox Contour Streaming Antenna User Manual provided.
