To connect your Spectrum ONU SONU 10G EPON DPoE Advanced Fiber Voice Modem to your internet and phone devices, follow these steps:
1. Internet Connection:
- Locate the 10G Ethernet port on the rear panel of the modem.
- Connect one end of an RJ45 Ethernet cable to the 10G Ethernet port.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an Ethernet-enabled device such as a wireless access point/router (LAN switch, router).
2. Phone Connection:
- Locate the 1G Ethernet (ATA) port on the rear panel of the modem.
- Connect one end of an RJ45 Ethernet cable to the 1G Ethernet (ATA) port.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an Ethernet-enabled ATA (External ATA) or IP Phone.
3. Power Connection:
- Connect the provided power adapter to the Power port on the rear panel of the modem.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall power outlet.
4. Voice Connection:
- Locate the Voice 1-2 ports on the rear panel of the modem.
- Connect analog telephones or a DECT base station to the Voice 1-2 ports.
Note: Before connecting the devices, ensure that telephone service is enabled via spectrum.net/support.
