Cleaning the Bosch MUM 6N10 UC Universal Plus Stand Mixer is a breeze due to its removable parts that are dishwasher safe, making maintenance hassle-free. Here are the steps to clean the mixer:
1. Unplug the mixer from the power outlet and ensure that it has completely stopped before cleaning.
2. Remove all attachments, such as the beaters, dough hook, and splash ring, from the mixer.
3. The attachments, except for the dough hook, motor drive cover, and blender's blade/base assembly, are dishwasher safe. You can place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Alternatively, you can hand wash them in warm soapy water, rinse well, and dry.
4. The dough hook should be hand washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, and dried.
5. The motor drive cover should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
6. The blender's blade/base assembly should be washed under running water and dried. It is recommended not to let it stand in water or soap solution to prevent the bearing lubricant from being washed out.
7. Wipe the exterior of the mixer with a damp cloth to remove any spills or stains.
8. Once all the parts are clean and dry, reassemble the mixer for future use.
