To replace the batteries in the JHY DESIGN 30130 Cordless LED Cage Lantern, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the lantern is turned off and remove any objects or decorations from the lantern.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom or back of the lantern. It is usually secured with a latch or xxxx .
3. Use a screwdriver or your fingers to open the battery compartment. If there is a latch, slide it to the side or lift it up to unlock the compartment.
4. Take out the old batteries from the compartment. Pay attention to the battery orientation and make a note of how the batteries are inserted.
5. Insert three new AAA batteries into the compartment, following the correct orientation. The positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries should align with the markings inside the compartment.
6. Close the battery compartment securely. If there is a latch, slide it back into place or press it down to lock the compartment. If there is a xxxx , tighten it until the compartment is firmly closed.
7. Turn on the lantern by sliding the switch to the "On" position. The LED bulbs should light up if the batteries are properly installed.
