To switch between the hand and stand mixer functions on the Hamilton Beach 64650, simply detach the mixer from its stand for handheld use or attach it to the stand for hands-free mixing. To attach the mixer to the stand, follow these steps:
1. Set the stand on the counter with the platform level.
2. Hold the mixer with the two small holes on the bottom of the mixer facing down.
3. Align the two small holes on the bottom of the mixer with the two hooks on the platform of the stand.
4. Gently press the back of the mixer onto the platform until it locks in position.
5. The mixer is now securely attached to the stand and can be used as a stand mixer.
To switch back to handheld use, simply hold the mixer and press the mixer release button to release it from the locked position on the stand.
