It is recommended to oil the blades of the WAHL 9484-300 Professional Animal Deluxe U-Clip Pet before, during, and after each grooming session. Oiling the blades helps to lubricate and cool them, ensuring optimal performance and preventing them from becoming hot due to frictional heat. It also helps to flush out any dirt, hair, or abrasive particles that may accumulate between the blades. Use Wahl Clipper Oil for best results.
