To change the battery in your MABIS 15-691-000 Digital Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. When the battery indicator " " appears in the lower right of the display, it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced.
2. Slide the battery cap away from the unit to access the battery compartment.
3. Use a non-metal tool to carefully remove the old battery from the compartment.
4. Insert a new LR41 alkaline or SR41 silver oxide type battery into the compartment with the positive (+) side facing up.
5. Carefully slide the battery cap back into place.
