To clean the slow cooker, make sure it is unplugged and in the OFF position. The stoneware insert can be washed in the dishwasher or cleaned with warm soapy water. If there are any cooked-on foods, you can soak the pot overnight in soapy water and rinse it the next day. The exterior of the slow cooker can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried. Avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the surfaces. Never submerge the entire slow cooker in water or any other liquid, as this may damage the appliance.
