The MyTime™ technology on the Crock-Pot CPSCVTS70LL-S slow cooker allows you to schedule your cooking time and have your meal ready when you want it. Here's how you can use it:
1. Place the stoneware into the heating base, add your ingredients, and cover with the lid.
2. Plug the slow cooker into an electrical outlet.
3. Choose the "SCHEDULE MEAL" option on the left side of the control panel.
4. Select the "FOOD" option to choose from a list of preset functions such as MEAT, POULTRY, SOUP, and VEGGIES. If your recipe is not on the list, choose the main ingredient that closely relates or use the "MANUAL" function.
5. Use the "AMOUNT" button to select the weight or capacity of the food being cooked. The options will vary based on the selected food.
6. Use the "HOUR" and "MINUTE" buttons to set the time you want your meal to be complete. Press "START" to begin the cooking process.
7. The initial time displayed on the screen is the meal's earliest end time based on the selected food and amount.
8. The MyTime™ technology will automatically determine the correct heat setting based on your inputs. The food will be kept at a food-safe temperature unless there is a power outage.
9. The slow cooker will not cook food longer than 12 hours from the meal cook-start time. After the scheduled meal time has passed, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the "KEEP WARM" setting.
10. If there is a power outage, the display and lights will blink when the power is restored. All settings will be cleared, and the food may be unsafe to eat. It is recommended to discard the food if you are unsure of how long the power was out.
By using the MyTime™ technology, you can enjoy the convenience of having your meal ready at your desired time without having to monitor the cooking process.
