To charge the Klein Tools 56040 LED Rechargeable Flashlight, follow these steps:
1. Connect the micro-USB cable to the flashlight.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB (2.0 or higher) port or an AC adapter (not included).
3. Ensure that the USB adapter/power supply does not exceed the specified charging voltage and current (Max. 5.0V DC, min. 0.650A).
4. The battery level indicator on the flashlight will illuminate:
- Solid Green: 100% charge
- Blinking Red: 0% to 99% charge
5. A full charge could take up to 6.5 hours, depending on the charger's output. It is recommended to charge the flashlight completely before using it.
6. To maximize battery life, refer to the maintenance section in the instruction manual.
Please note that the flashlight will not operate while it is being charged.
