To change the program mode on the Streamlight ProTac 2L-X LED Tactical Flashlight, follow these steps:
1. Start from the "Off" position.
2. Tap the switch rapidly 9 times within 0.4 seconds per tap.
3. On the 10th tap, hold down the switch.
4. Continue holding the switch until the light turns off (approximately 1 second).
5. Release the switch.
By following these steps, you can cycle through the available program modes, which include High-Strobe-Low (Factory Default), High Only, and Low-High.
