To connect the Lakeshore DD518 Wireless Classroom Headphones to an audio source, follow these steps:
1. Insert two "AAA" batteries into each pair of headphones, making sure the + and - terminals are positioned correctly. Please note that a total of eight "AAA" batteries are required, which are not included with the set.
2. Plug the power adapter into the DC input jack on the side of the transmitter, and then plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
3. Connect the stereo cable to the audio cable on the transmitter, matching the red plug to the red socket and the white plug to the white socket.
4. Connect the yellow plug on the end of the stereo cable to an audio source such as a CD player, MP3 player, or computer. Turn on the audio source.
5. Slide the ON/OFF switch on the transmitter to ON and slide the channel switch to the desired channel. The headphones will automatically search for the channel the transmitter is set to.
6. Press the ON/OFF button on the headphones to turn them on. The power LED light will turn on. If you hear interference, press the SCAN button until the correct channel is selected. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
7. When the headphones are not in use, remember to turn off both the transmitter and the headphones. Slide the ON/OFF switch on the headphones to OFF and press the ON/OFF button until the LED light goes out.
Please note that the headphones and transmitter will remember the last channel you were on, so you won't have to change it every time. Also, remember to remove the batteries before storing the headphones for a long period, as removing the batteries or unplugging the transmitter will reset the channel.
