To lock the flashlight, ensure it is switched off and then long press Button 1 for 5 seconds. The emitter will flash twice to indicate that it is locked. To unlock the flashlight, long press Button 2 for 3 seconds while it is locked. The emitter will flash three times to indicate that it is unlocked.
