The Crock-Pot SCV803-SS 8-Quart Portable Food Warmer is not recommended for use on the WARM setting for more than 4 hours. The WARM setting is designed to keep already cooked food at the perfect serving temperature until you are ready to eat. It is not intended for cooking or keeping food warm for extended periods. If you need to keep food warm for longer than 4 hours, it is recommended to transfer the food to another heat source such as a chafing dish or buffet server.
