Cleaning the Oster FPSTJE317 Stainless Steel Juice Extractor is easy and straightforward. Here are the steps to clean the juicer:
1. Unplug the juicer from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Disassemble all removable parts of the juicer, including the filter basket, stainless steel filter, lid, pulp collector container, and jar.
3. Wash the removable parts by hand with warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher (top shelf only). If the pulp has dried out, you can soak the parts in water for approximately 10 minutes before washing.
4. Wipe the motor base housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
5. Pay special attention to cleaning the filter basket. It is important to keep the filter clean and free of residue blocking the holes for optimal performance. Wash it thoroughly with warm soapy water. If the holes in the mesh remain blocked, you can soak the filter in hot water with a solution of 10% lemon juice to unblock the holes.
