To change the batteries in the Santamedical SM-1100S Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the device is turned off before changing the batteries.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
3. Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.
4. Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
5. Close the battery compartment by sliding the cover back into place until it clicks securely.
6. Turn on the device to check if the new batteries are working properly.
