To clean the Crock-Pot DRX5-RB 4-8 quart Programmable Slow Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Always turn off and unplug the slow cooker before cleaning.
2. The stoneware and lid can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar.
3. The stoneware and lid should not be washed with cold water when they are hot, as this can cause them to crack.
4. The outside of the heating base can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5. Do not immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
6. No other servicing should be performed on the slow cooker. It does not have any user-serviceable parts.
