To clean and sterilize the Bellababy BLA8015-02 Electric Breast Feeding Pump, follow these steps:
1. Before the first use, wash every part except the tubing and machine. Sterilize them with a steam sterilizer or boil them if you do not have a steam sterilizer. Do not put the blue clips with metal springs inside if using a UV sterilizer or microwave oven.
2. For moms pumping multiple times a day, wash and clean the parts after every use. Air dry them and then sterilize them after the last use.
3. Do not wash or steam-sterilize the tubing, as water or moisture inside the tubing can damage the circuit, motor, and battery. Make sure the cylinder and cylinder cover are dry enough before turning on the machine.
4. Do not put the tubing and machine into water for cleaning and sterilization.
5. After every use, clean the parts that touched the breast or breast milk. Air-dry them to prevent bacteria growth.
6. When disassembling or assembling the pump, follow the instructions to ensure correct steps and no air leakage.
