To install the EMART EM-GL-2 Waterproof Security Lamp, please follow these steps:
1. Remove all packaging and ensure you have all the parts listed in the manual.
2. Choose a suitable location for the lamp, keeping in mind that it should not be placed in a corrosive environment.
3. Refer to the installation drawing for the correct orientation of the lamp.
4. Securely fix the lamp to the mounting surface using the screws and wall plugs provided. Ensure the fixing point can support the weight of the lamp.
5. Take care not to drill into any pipes or mains cables during the mounting hole preparation.
6. Refer to the wiring diagram for reference, but always follow the terminal markings for wiring. Ensure all electrical connections are tight and no loose strands are left out of the terminal block.
7. Never put anything on or hang anything from the lamp, and do not use the terminal cables to bear the weight of the lamp.
8. If the lamp does not light up after installation, check for electricity failure and ensure all connections are secure.
9. If you have any doubts about the installation or use of the product, consult a qualified electrician.
10. Before performing any maintenance or adjustments, disconnect the lamp from the mains and allow it to cool down for at least 10 minutes.
11. It is recommended to have a regular schedule of care and maintenance to keep the surface condition of the lamp in good condition.
