Installation of the Searik GYD-3+US-1 LED Magnetic Motion Sensor Light is simple and can be done in a few steps. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Choose a suitable location for the light: Decide where you want to install the motion sensor light. It can be used in various spaces such as closets, cabinets, stairways, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and entryways.
2. Mounting options: The Searik GYD-3+US-1 LED Magnetic Motion Sensor Light offers multiple mounting options. You can use the built-in magnet to attach it to any metal surface, or use the included adhesive strip for non-magnetic surfaces.
3. Magnetic Mounting: If you have a magnetic surface, simply attach the light by placing it on the desired location. The built-in magnet will hold it securely.
4. Adhesive Strip: For non-magnetic surfaces, peel off the protective backing from the adhesive strip and firmly press the light onto the desired location. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive strip.
5. Insert batteries: Open the light compartment and insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly.
6. Turn on the light: Locate the power button or switch on the light and turn it on. Some models may have adjustable settings for sensitivity and timer duration.
7. Motion sensor activation: The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected within its range of 10 feet. It will stay on for 15 seconds after the last detected motion and then turn off.
