1. Prepare the device: Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment located on the back of the unit. Make sure to align the batteries correctly according to the polarity markings.
2. Connect the electrode pads: Attach the electrode pads to the lead wires by inserting the pins into the designated ports. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Prepare the treatment area: Clean and dry the area of your body where you will be placing the electrode pads. It is recommended to shave excessive hair to ensure good contact.
4. Apply the electrode pads: Peel off the protective backing from the electrode pads and place them firmly on the treatment area. Make sure the pads are positioned at least one inch apart.
5. Turn on the device: Press the power button located on the front of the unit. The device will turn on, and the LCD screen will display the default settings.
6. Adjust the settings: Use the arrow buttons to navigate through the menu and select the desired options. You can adjust the pulse width, pulse rate, and intensity levels according to your preference and treatment needs.
7. Start the treatment: Once you have set the desired parameters, press the start button to begin the treatment. The device will deliver electrical impulses through the electrode pads to stimulate the nerves and provide pain relief.
8. Monitor the session: During the treatment, you can monitor the elapsed time on the LCD screen. The device will automatically set the timer for a 20-minute session, which is the recommended treatment time.
9. End the session: After 20 minutes, the device will automatically stop the stimulation. Press the power button to turn off the device.
10. Remove the electrode pads: Gently peel off the electrode pads from the treatment area. Place them back onto the protective backing for future use.
11. Store the device: When not in use, store the Intensity E200-6R TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
