To replace the battery in the Taylor 1710 Digital Wired Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Pull out the battery compartment on the side of the thermometer.
2. Remove the old battery from the compartment.
3. Place a new 3-volt CR2025 lithium battery with the "+" sign facing up in the battery compartment.
4. Push the battery compartment cover back in.
Note: Before replacing the battery, make sure to remove the strip under the battery cover that prevents battery drain during shipping. Also, remove any static cling label on the lens to prevent scratching before use. Please recycle or dispose of batteries per local regulations.
