To change the battery in the Lavatools PT12 Javelin Digital Instant Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Fully retract the probe of the thermometer.
2. Locate the battery door on the back of the thermometer.
3. Using a coin, twist open the battery door in a counterclockwise direction.
4. Carefully remove the existing battery from the battery compartment.
5. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) pole facing up.
6. Close the battery door by twisting it clockwise with a coin until it is securely fastened.
