To install the Acquaer PCPO25-1 Automatic Swimming Pool Cover Pump, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Choose a suitable location: Place the pump near the pool cover, ensuring it is level and secure. It is important to position the pump close to the area where water tends to accumulate on the pool cover.
2. Connect the power cord: Connect the pump to a power source, ensuring the cord is not damaged or frayed. The pump is designed to work with a standard 115-volt wall outlet.
3. Connect the water outlet: Connect the pump to the pool cover, ensuring a secure and watertight seal. The pump comes with a 1-1/4” NPT discharge and a 3/4” garden hose adapter with a check valve for easy connection.
4. Automatic operation: Once the pump is properly installed, it will automatically activate when water is detected at a depth of 2 inches. It will continue to remove water until the level drops to approximately 2/5 inch before turning off. This smart functionality ensures hands-free operation, saving time and effort for users.
