To change the temperature scale from Fahrenheit to Celsius on the Apex 70256 Digital Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the thermometer is turned off.
2. Press and hold the On/Off Button located next to the LCD display for approximately 4 seconds.
3. The current temperature scale setting will be displayed in the upper right corner of the LCD (either °C or °F).
4. Release the On/Off Button.
5. The temperature scale will now switch to the opposite unit of measurement. For example, if the thermometer was previously set to Fahrenheit, it will now be set to Celsius, and vice versa.
6. The thermometer is now ready to use with the new temperature scale setting.
