To use the Boncare GF-MT801 Oral Thermometer for oral temperature measurement, please follow these steps:
1. Wipe or dip the probe with ethyl alcohol for disinfection.
2. Push the On/Off button. The LCD will show "188.8" for 2 seconds and you will hear a beep simultaneously. The last tested temperature will be shown for about 2 seconds. After that, the "Lo'C" (or "Lo'F") sign shows if the room temperature is below 32'C (90.0'F).
3. Position the probe in the mouth.
4. Once the temperature-taking is finished, the degree sign of 'C('F) on the LCD will stop flashing, and you will hear buzzes for approximately 10 seconds. The tested temperature is shown on the LCD.
5. After the test, if the test temperature is below 32'C or 90.0'F, the LCD shows "Lo'C" (or "Lo'F"). If the tested temperature is above 42.9'C or 109.9'F, the LCD shows "Hi'C" (or "Hi'F").
6. After temperature-taking, if the tested temperature is below 37.5'C or below 99.5'F, the buzzes are "BiBi---BiBi---BiBi---BiBi" and the screen shows green. If the tested temperature is between 37.5'C and 37.8'C or between 99.5'F and 100.0'F, the buzzes are "BiBi--BiBi--BiBi--BiBi" and the screen shows yellow. If the tested temperature is above 37.8'C or 100.0'F, the buzzes whose frequency is much higher are "BiBi--BiBi--BiBi--BiBi" and the screen shows red.
7. The thermometer will automatically turn off in about 4 minutes for energy-saving. However, to prolong the battery life, it is suggested to press the On/Off button to turn the thermometer off once the test is finished.
