To clean the filter in the Aquagarden 1054256 Inpond 5-in-1 Water Pump, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the electricity to the pump.
2. Remove the Inpond from the pond using the carry handle (do not use the cables to lift the Inpond).
3. Open and lock the filter handle to access the filter media.
4. Remove the filter foams and cartridge.
5. Rinse the foams vigorously in a bucket of pond water to clean them.
6. Check the ceramic biomedia for any buildup and rinse it with pond water if necessary.
7. Clean the polymer wool pad by washing it in a limited number of times before it starts to lose efficiency and block rapidly. Replacement packs of polymer wool are available if needed.
8. Once all the filter components are clean, reassemble them in the filter chamber.
9. Close the filter handle to secure the filter media in place.
10. Place the Inpond back into the pond, ensuring it is fully immersed and cannot freeze solid.
It is important to carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of the filter to ensure optimal performance and a clean and healthy pond.
