To replace the batteries in the ELPHECO JAH 5712 Automatic Trash Can, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the trash can is empty and the lid is closed.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the trash can lid.
3. Use a small screwdriver or coin to twist and unlock the battery compartment cover.
4. Remove the old batteries from the compartment and dispose of them properly.
5. Insert two new AA batteries into the compartment, making sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
6. Close the battery compartment cover by twisting it back into place until it locks securely.
7. Test the trash can by waving your hand over the motion sensor to ensure the new batteries are working properly.
Note: The ELPHECO JAH 5712 Automatic Trash Can requires two AA batteries for operation. It is recommended to use high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance and longer battery life.
