To charge the CAT CD1000DCP Power Station, you should use the built-in AC charger. Lift the protective cover of the built-in 120 Volt AC Charger and connect an extension cord to the unit. Plug the other end of the cord into a standard 120-volt AC wall outlet. The bars on the Battery Status Icon will change from empty to solid repeatedly to indicate that the unit is charging. Charge the unit for approximately 40 hours or until the Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
It is important to note that using any other charger may not provide the correct voltage and could potentially damage the unit. Therefore, it is recommended to use the built-in AC charger provided with the power station.
Additionally, it is important to fully charge the unit after each use and to recharge it at least every 30 days when not in frequent use. This will help maintain the battery life and ensure optimal performance.
