To pair the anko WiFi LED Light with the Tuya Smart App, please follow these steps:
1. Install the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone. You can either scan the QR code provided in the user manual or search for "Tuya Smart" in the Apple Store or Google Play.
2. Create an account on the Tuya Smart app and log in. Remember to keep your account and password in mind for later steps.
3. Open the Tuya Smart app and tap the "+" button on the top right corner to add a device. Then, select "lighting devices" on the next page.
4. Make sure your smartphone is connected to your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network. The LED strip light only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz.
5. There are two startup methods for the LED strip:
a. Press and hold the button on the adaptor for 5 seconds until the strip enters fast flashing mode.
b. Plug and unplug the adaptor three times (on-off-on-off-on) until the strip enters fast flashing mode.
6. Confirm that the LED strip is in fast flashing mode, then tap the "confirm" button in the app to proceed. If you need further assistance, you can tap "view help" for more details.
7. Enter your WiFi password in the app and tap "ok" to connect the LED strip to your WiFi network. Wait for the connection to be successfully established.
8. Give a name to the LED light. It is recommended to choose a simple name for easier voice recognition with Alexa or Google Assistant.
9. The named light will be shown on the app homepage. Now you can control the light (turn on/off, change colors, adjust brightness, etc.) with the Tuya Smart app on the setting page. Simply tap the light icon to turn it on or off.
