To install the CTEK DC/DC Battery Charger D250SE, follow these steps:
1. Choose a smooth surface to install the charger where it can be securely fastened and is not exposed to fuel, oil, or dirt.
2. Fit the D250SE and SMARTPASS 120S together with the accompanying connector plate before fastening them to the surface.
3. Secure the apparatus with screws at each corner.
4. Before connecting the cables, ensure that the negative terminal post on the battery is not connected.
5. Connect the cables to the apparatus connections using screws (M8). Use an Allen key to tighten the screws properly.
6. Use tape to secure the temperature sensor to a clean flat surface above the service battery, close to the positive terminal post.
7. Finally, connect the battery negative terminal post.
