To manually operate the SDO-6 Sectional Door Opener, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the door is in the closed position.
2. Locate the manual release cord, which is usually red and hanging from the opener.
3. Pull the manual release cord towards the door until you hear a click. This disengages the opener.
4. You can now move the door manually by pushing or pulling it.
5. After manually operating the door, it is important to re-engage the opener for automatic operation.
6. To re-engage the opener, check that the door is not locked by any other device.
7. Pull the manual release cord away from the door until you hear a click. This re-engages the opener.
8. The door will now operate from the opener as usual.
Note: Do not use the string handle as a mechanism to open the door, as it may cause serious injury.
