To fill the salt reservoir in your Miele dishwasher, follow these steps:
1. Remove the lower basket from the wash cabinet and unscrew the salt reservoir cap.
- It is important to note that you should only open the salt reservoir to replenish the salt and not fill it with detergent.
- Opening the salt reservoir with detergent can cause damage to the water softener and corrosion to the dishwasher load.
2. Fill the salt reservoir with approximately 2 liters of water during the first use.
- This step helps to dissolve and remove any traces of salt from the cabinet.
3. Place the funnel provided over the salt reservoir and carefully fill it with dishwasher salt until the reservoir is full.
- Make sure to clean any excess salt from around the reservoir opening.
4. xxxx the salt reservoir cap back on firmly.
5. Immediately after filling the salt container, run the QuickPowerWash 65 °C program with the Express option and without any load in the dishwasher.
- This step helps to dissolve and remove any remaining traces of salt from the cabinet.
