To adjust the water softener in the Smeg DWAFI6315T3 dishwasher, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the PROGRAM SELECTION button until the WATER HARDNESS ADJUSTMENT INDICATOR LIGHT flashes.
2. The SELECTED PROGRAM INDICATOR LIGHTS will indicate the current setting.
3. Press the PROGRAM SELECTION button repeatedly to choose the desired water hardness setting according to the water hardness table provided in the manual.
4. After adjusting the setting or displaying the current setting, if you do not touch the button for a few seconds, the dishwasher will automatically exit from adjustment mode and return to the standard operating mode.
It is important to adjust the water softener to the correct water hardness level in your area to ensure optimal washing results and prevent scale deposits on your dishes. Consult your local water board for information on the water hardness in your area.
