To charge the EverStart Maxx Jump Starter, follow these steps:
1. Insert the barrel connector of the AC charging adapter into the AC charging port on the front of the unit.
2. Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard North American 120 volt 60Hz outlet.
3. The LCD screen will display the battery status icon and the voltage indicator, and the bars on the battery status icon will change from empty to solid to indicate that the unit is charging.
4. Charge the unit for approximately 20 hours or until the battery status icon shows four solid bars.
5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the AC charging adapter from the power source and then from the unit.
It is important to fully charge the unit before using it for the first time and to recharge it after each use to prolong battery life.
