3. If you have the optional escutcheon, determine whether you need to use it based on your sink configuration. Follow the instructions provided in the manual for installing the escutcheon.
4. Mount the faucet above the deck or sink by aligning the trim ring tabs (if applicable) in the base of the hub. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the faucet in place.
5. Connect the supply lines to the faucet. If using standard connections, ensure all fittings and end connections are free of debris. Use a wrench to secure the metal nut to the supply valve connection. Repeat for the other supply line.
6. If you need to customize the fit of the supply tubing, use the plastic sleeves (ferrules) provided with the faucet. Slide the nut over the plastic sleeve and start the nut by hand onto the supply valve connection. Tighten the nut with a wrench. Repeat for the other supply line.
7. Once the faucet is securely installed, turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If necessary, tighten the connections further.
8. To flush the supply lines, place a bucket below the outlet tube and move the faucet handle to the open mixed position. Slowly open and close the supply stops while holding the outlet tube over the bucket. This will help remove any debris from the hose and sprayer.
9. Install the hose by inserting the hose end through the hose weight assembly. Push the hose end onto the faucet outlet and attach the clip over the hose and outlet to secure the connection.
10. Test the operation of the sprayer by pushing the trigger from aerator to spray. For models with a 3-function sprayer, check the operation by pushing the buttons to achieve the different modes.
