To set up your Dish 21.1/21.2 remote control for TV1, follow these steps:
1. Remove the battery cover on the back of your remote control.
2. While pushing the circular indentation, slide the cover downward.
3. Pull out the key on the front of the remote using your thumbnail. Turn it over, and reinsert it so the number 1 is showing.
4. Using the tip of a pen, move the signal switch on the back of the remote from UHF to IR. This switch is located to the left of the batteries.
5. Replace the battery cover.
After completing these steps, you can proceed to pair your remote to your receiver by following the instructions provided in the manual.
