To switch between computers using the ATEN 2-Port USB HD Audio xVideo KVM Switch, you have three methods:
1. Manual Port Selection: Press the port selection push button on the Remote Port Selector to toggle the KVM and Audio focus between the two computers. The Port LED lights will indicate which computer has the focus.
2. Mouse Port Selection: Double-click the scroll wheel on your USB mouse to switch between ports. This allows you to toggle back and forth between the computers. Please note that this feature is only supported by USB 3-key scroll wheel mice.
3. Hotkey Port Selection: You can use hotkeys on your keyboard to switch between ports. All hotkey operations begin by tapping the Scroll Lock key twice. For example, pressing [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] + [Enter] will toggle the KVM and Audio focus between the two ports. The manual provides a table with various hotkey combinations for different functions.
