The filter in the Govee Smart Air Purifier should be replaced every 6-8 months, depending on how often you use the air purifier. However, you may need to replace the filter sooner if you notice increased noise, decreased airflow, unusual odors, or a visibly clogged filter. To replace the filter, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the air purifier and flip it over.
2. Remove the bottom filter cover by twisting the xxxx nut counterclockwise.
3. Take out the old filter and clean any remaining dust or hair inside the air purifier using a vacuum hose.
4. Unwrap the new filter and place it into the housing.
5. Reattach the cover and twist the xxxx nut clockwise to lock it.
6. Plug in the air purifier and reset the Filter Change Indicator by pressing and holding the Filter Change Button for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes 3 times and turns off.
Note: It is important to use official Govee filters to maintain the performance of your air purifier.
