To connect the Govee H5160 Smart Outdoor Plug to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Wi-Fi router that supports the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. The plug does not support 5GHz.
2. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices) and open it.
3. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
4. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a device.
5. Search for "H5160" and tap on the device icon.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
If you encounter any issues connecting to Wi-Fi, make sure the device is within 100ft of the router and there are minimal obstructions (such as walls or windows) between the device and the router. Also, ensure that you enter the correct Wi-Fi name and password, and that you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
