To connect the Govee H5040+H5054 Water Detector with WiFi Gateway to your Wi-Fi network, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Wi-Fi router that supports the 2.4GHz band (not 5GHz) and 802.11 b/g/n bands.
2. Ensure that your smartphone or tablet is connected to the 2.4GHz network.
3. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
4. Open the Govee Home app and tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
5. Select "H5040" from the list of devices.
6. Press and hold the Wi-Fi Pairing Button on the Wi-Fi Gateway for 3 seconds. The gateway's indicator will flash blue slowly, indicating it is ready to connect to Wi-Fi.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the connection process.
8. Once connected successfully, the indicator on the gateway will remain solid blue, and you will be able to find the water leak detector in the device list within the app.
If you are unable to find the detector, you can swipe down the device list page in the app to refresh or refer to the "Add or Re-add Water Leak Detector" section in the user manual for additional instructions.
Note: If the indicator on the gateway remains solid red, it means the gateway failed to connect to Wi-Fi. Please double-check the above steps or refer to the "Video Guide" within the app for further instructions.
