To set the timer to turn on and off at specific times, follow these steps:
1. Plug the timer into a grounded outlet.
2. Press the HOUR button multiple times to advance the display to the correct time. Note that the time can only be set in 30-minute intervals.
3. To change from AM to PM, toggle the HOUR button 24 times until a dot illuminates in the lower right corner of the display next to the letters PM.
4. Press the PROGRAM button once, and the letter P will flash.
5. Press the HOUR button to set the ON time.
6. Press the PROGRAM button again, and the letter E will flash.
7. Press the HOUR button to set the OFF time.
8. Press the PROGRAM button to exit the program setting mode.
9. Press the HOUR button to review the ON/OFF setting.
Once the timer is programmed, plug your device into the timer and turn it on. The timer will automatically turn the device on and off according to the set ON/OFF times.
If you need to revise the ON/OFF setting, simply unplug the timer and plug it back in, then repeat the programming steps mentioned above.
Please note that this timer is suitable for use with outdoor appliances and is rain-tight when mounted vertically with the receptacle facing downward. It is important to use a three-conductor GFCI-protected outlet and avoid immersing the timer in water. Additionally, do not exceed the rated capacity of the timer, and it is not intended for permanent installation or use for more than a 90-day period per year.
