To connect the BESDER A8B WiFi CCTV IP Camera to your home network, you can follow the steps below:
1. Download the "iCS ee" app from the app store or scan the QR code provided in the user guide.
2. Connect the camera to a power supply using the power cable.
3. If you want to store videos locally, insert a TF card into the camera before turning on the power. Note that the TF card does not support hot plugging, so make sure to insert or remove it when the device is powered off. Alternatively, you can use cloud storage for safe and convenient video storage.
4. Open the "iCS ee" app and click on "sign up" to register an account using your phone number or email address.
5. After successful registration, enter your phone number or email address and password to log in to the app. You can also use other login options like WeChat, Facebook, Line, or temporary visit.
6. To configure the camera's WiFi connection, make sure your phone is connected to the WiFi network you want to use.
7. In the app, click on the "+" icon in the upper right corner and select "Add WiFi camera." Follow the voice prompts and enter your router's password as guided by the app.
8. The app will search for the device and guide you through the connection process. Wait for the connection to be established.
9. Once connected, you will be prompted to set a password and name for your device. Follow the app's instructions to complete the network configuration.
10. After finishing the configuration, the device will appear in the device list, indicating successful connection. Click on it to view the monitoring image and perform relevant operations and settings.
If the WiFi configuration fails, the user manual provides alternative methods such as AP mode configuration, wired network configuration, and hotspot direct connection. Please refer to the manual for detailed instructions on these methods.
Note: It is recommended to use a 2.4G WiFi network as the camera does not support 5G WiFi. Make sure your phone, router, and camera are within 2 meters of each other during the connection process.
