To set up the Centurylink technicolor C2100-C2100T Modem, follow these steps:
1. Connect the modem to your DSL line using the RJ-11 DSL line ports.
2. Connect your computer or router to the modem using the Ethernet WAN port.
3. Connect the power supply to the modem and plug it into a power outlet.
4. Wait for the modem to power on and establish a connection with your DSL service provider.
5. Once the modem is powered on and connected, open a web browser on your computer and enter the default gateway IP address (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) in the address bar.
6. You will be prompted to enter a username and password. Refer to the user manual or the sticker on the modem for the default login credentials.
7. After logging in, you will be directed to the modem's web interface. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection settings, such as selecting the appropriate DSL profile and entering your DSL username and password provided by your service provider.
8. Save the settings and restart the modem if prompted.
9. Once the modem has restarted, it should be connected to the internet and ready for use.
