To set up the CenturyLink Zyxel C3000-C3000Z modem, follow these steps:
1. Connect the modem to your computer using an Ethernet cable or connect to the modem's Wi-Fi network.
2. Open a web browser and enter "192.168.0.1" in the address bar to access the modem's web-based interface.
3. Enter the default username and password provided in the user manual or on the modem's label. If you have changed the login credentials, use the updated information.
4. Once logged in, you will be guided through the setup wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection.
5. If you are using DSL, select the appropriate DSL mode (bonded or single line) and enter the necessary DSL settings provided by your ISP.
6. If you are using a WAN connection, select the appropriate connection type (DHCP, PPPoE, or Static IP) and enter the required information provided by your ISP.
7. Configure your Wi-Fi settings, including network name (SSID) and password. You can also set up multiple SSIDs for different purposes.
8. Review the settings and click "Apply" or "Save" to save the changes.
9. Once the modem restarts, your internet connection should be active.
