To clean the brushes on the Hoover Max Extract Dual V carpet cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Turn off and unplug the carpet cleaner.
2. Remove the Clean Water Tank and Dirty Water Tank from the cleaner.
3. Tilt the cleaner back so that the handle rests on the floor.
4. Grab the brush assembly firmly and pull it out of the cleaner.
5. Rinse the brushes under running water to remove any dirt or debris.
6. If necessary, use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub the brushes.
7. Once the brushes are clean, align the posts on both ends of the brush assembly with the slots in the cleaner housing.
8. Make sure the square post also aligns with the square hole. Turn the brushes slightly until the post fits into the hole.
9. Press the brush assembly firmly to snap it into place.
10. Slide the nozzle completely onto the cleaner and press down to secure it.
11. Replace the Dirty Water Tank and ensure that the lid is securely in place.
