To connect the Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080P to the Mi Home app, please follow these steps:
1. Install the Mi Home app: Scan the QR code provided in the user manual or go to the app store on your smartphone and search for "Mi Home". Download and install the app.
2. Add a device: Open the Mi Home app and tap on the "+" icon located on the upper right corner of the screen. Follow the prompts to add your device.
3. Connect to the device: Ensure that there is a stable internet connection. Power on the security camera and wait for the indicator light to blink orange. Open the Mi Home app and follow the on-screen prompts to connect to the device. The indicator light will turn blue when the connection is successfully made.
If the connection fails, you can try restoring the factory settings by inserting a pin or tool into the reset hole until the orange light is steady on. Please note that restoring the factory settings will not remove any data stored on the MicroSD card.
Once the Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080P is successfully connected to the Mi Home app, you can monitor the surroundings in real-time, adjust image settings, and access additional features such as screen capture, recording, and remote communication.
