To access the interior fuse box in your Mercedes-Benz C-Class (2008-2014), follow these steps:
1. Open the driver's door.
2. Look for a panel or cover on the side of the dashboard where the door meets. This is where the interior fuse box is usually located.
3. If there is a cover, gently pry it open using a flathead screwdriver or your fingers. Some covers may have screws that need to be removed first.
4. Once the cover is open, you will see a diagram or chart indicating the fuse locations and their functions.
5. Locate the fuse you need to check or replace by referring to the diagram or chart.
6. If a fuse is blown, use a fuse puller tool or a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the blown fuse.
7. Replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same rating. Make sure the new fuse is securely in place.
8. Close the fuse box cover and make sure it is properly positioned.
Note: It is important to use fuses approved by Mercedes-Benz with the specified amperage for the system in question. Do not attempt to repair or bridge a blown fuse. Using other than approved fuses or repaired/bridged fuses may cause damage to electrical components and systems. If a newly inserted fuse blows again, have the cause determined and rectified by an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.
